WHAT'S HAPPENING..?

UPDATE: we are going to work at Chatterton Playing fields. It's likely to be raining so tog up with waterproofs and wellies!

On 30 June 2012 artists Becky Atherton and David Boultbee will be building a giant sculpture from thread. We could really use your help to create it!

It's part of a project we're doing working at several sites along the Irwell Sculpture Trail to highlight some of the works along the route. The project's been commissioned by Rossendale Borough Council.

We've already enjoyed working with Thorn Primary School at The Sentinal, and with Sharan Bispham at The Birds.

All are welcome to come and help, but if you're under 16, please bring an adult. Please bear in mind we'll be working in a field with few facilities which you may want to factor into your plans, especially if you are bringing young children.
